Where to start….
In 2005 there came the sudden and unexpected decision to walk the path of the sculptor - odd for someone who previously wrote and earned money as an engineer.
After a very mirthsome trip to see an exceptional man, Bernard Pearson, the idea was solidly stamped that a life of creation was certain.
So….
Since that time workshops have been built, machinery bought, materials acquired, friends made, and a lot of fun been had.
We do EVERYTHING here. We design using the latest technologies such as the pencil, the piece of paper, and the imaginative brain. We sculpt using water-based clay, polymer clay, NSP Chavant, and a number of sculpting waxes. We mould using different shores (hardnesses) of silicone rubber (RTV). We cast using polyester, polyurethane, plaster and hot melt metals (such as pewter). We finish using mostly acrylic paints, inks and stains. And finally we sell.
We have, over the years, produced pieces for books, events, companies (such as the Alchemy Carta), personal clients, the Discworld pheonomena, and of course ourselves. If you cannot find what you want on this site, we can also create something specially for YOU. Just email us.
Many of our items are made to order, which means they might take a few days to reach you, but we do keep a small stock to hand, so we’ll try to get your creatures and collectables to you as soon as possible.
